KST
(Koren Specific Technique)
For the last 5 years I practiced what I was taught at my animal chiropractic course. I used a manual technique with palpation telling me what needed to be adjusted. Late last year my personal chiropractor introduced me to Koren Specific Technique or KST. I was floored with the results I received from this technique. I quickly purchased The ArthroStim, (The ArthroStim™ is an FDA approved instrument that introduces energy/force/information to the body to realign segments and remove nerve pressure at a speed of 12 "taps" per second (12 hertz); it is a fast, accurate, low force and controlled adjustment.), and I got started adapting the technique for my furry patients. I was getting great results with the tried and true manual technique and now I am getting phenomenal results.
With KST I can now:
- Quickly and easily analyze and adjust the structural system of your cat or dog for subluxations: cranial bones, TMJ, the entire spinal column, pelvis, pectoral girdle, sternum, coccyx, ribs, extremities - anything/anywhere.
- Adjust discs.
- Immediately know if the subluxation was corrected.
- Low force. Most patients actually like the adjustment instrument
- Get results from the most difficult patients.
- Gentle enough to use on all ages – puppies/kittens to seniors
- I now know exactly where to adjust (without X-rays, computers, MRI or other analytical equipment)
- I immediately know whether or not I have corrected the subluxation; NO MORE OVER ADJUSTING (this is very important when your clients cannot talk to you)
- My patients can be more thoroughly analyzed than ever before, with the adjustments holding better and for longer periods of time.
Using kinesiology and the adjusting instrument, I no longer over adjust your pet. Most of the time the dog or cat leaves the office feeling better immediately and the number of treatments is reduced. With the use of muscle testing directly with the patient’s body, I only adjust what is needed that day. Most owners report back to me that their pet went home and slept for about 2-3 hours and woke up with a little pep and was moving better the next day and even better the third day. I have also noticed that it is very important to restrict all activity for the day of the adjustment AND the following two days, this is hard when your pet is feeling so much better, but is necessary for the KST adjustment to “hold”.
